Sexual Health & Relationships
(Empowering young people to make health choices)
The latest statistics on sexual health show that more than 1,000 young people aged 13-19 are diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection (STI) every week in the UK. (source: UKHSA).
We have to acknowledge that some young people do have sex. But clearly there is a need to ensure that up to date facts, information and advice on all aspects of sexual health and relationships is vital for all our young people today.
This talk on sexual health & relationships is a lively interactive talk that empowers young people, giving them the tools to make healthy choices. It demonstrates what a healthy relationship looks and feels like while also pointing out red flags and coercive behaviour traits. Jason will cover consent in this talk as well as prevention of sexually transmitted infections, symptoms and treatment. He also covers contraception and the options available to young people.
